KX-TAW848 Wireless System
The KX-TAW848 is a brand new PBX system from Panasonic, it is a wireless hybrid system. The system uses Secure Digital flash cards to backup and restore programs and for feature enhancements. Each Cell Station (KX-TDA0141), when connected to the KX-TAW848, can support all 28 portable stations. The Cell Stations, maximum four per system, can be placed in strategic places so that coverage area can be increased and dead spots can be eliminated. The handsets will automatically select the Cell Station with the strongest signal of the ones it's programmed to allowing a fluent and mobile workplace.

Programming and Maintenance:
The system is equipped with a built-in RS232 and a USB port for onsite access and PC programming. It can also be set up so the system can be accessed remotely via an optional dial-up modem card. |

2.4 Ghz Wireless Phones for KX-TAW848
There are two new phones that work on the KX-TAW848 system, they are KX-TD7680 2.4 Ghz Wireless Handset and KX-TD7690 2.4 Ghz Executive Portable Solution. Each phone is equipped with a 2.5 mm headset jack which allows for the ultimate mobility and comfort.

Corded Phones for KX-TAW848
The KX-TAW848 System can handle up to 8 CO lines and it can handle up to 24 wired extensions. The wired extensions that will work with this system are the Panasonic 7700, 7300 and 7000 series proprietary telephones, single line telephones (SLT) and can also handle up to 4 door intercom/openers.
